Number TEN's Nunavut Justice Centre Recognized
We are very pleased to be recognized by the American Institute of Architects, Academy of Architecture for Justice. Number TEN’s Nunavut Justice Centre will be published in the American Institute of Architects, 2010 Justice Facilities Review. This project was selected by a jury of experts as a distinguished example of court house design in North America.

Assiniboine Park
Family Centre
WINNIPEG OFFICE
The new Family Centre at Assiniboine Park is located adjacent to the existing Duck Pond. Environmentally sustainable local materials and an organic shape integrate the building’s form with its site. Fully glazed walls allow the interior spaces to be flooded with soft, leaf filtered light that reflects the vibrant colours of the surroundings. |

Douglas Park
Elementary School
REGINA OFFICE
Number TEN has collaborated with Fielding Nair International in the design of this innovative school. The school incorporates three "Personal Learning Communities” (PLC's) that function as clusters of approximately 125 students. Each community contains a variety of learning studios adjacent to its own open commons and includes “home like” washrooms, kitchen, professional teacher collaboration space and smaller “break-out” rooms. Large overhead doors and ample glazing allow educators to open up adjacent learning spaces for increased flexibility.

1007 Johnson Street
VICTORIA OFFICE
Built in 1885, the Johnson Street residence is
a heritage registered building and a notable example of Italianate architecture. It is valued for its rarity of construction materials, architectural quality and detailing.
The conservation and restoration will make the structure suitable for office use and will include the re-build of the rooftop widow's walk railing and a new front entrance with pillars and a balcony that replicates the original design.

The Kensington
VICTORIA OFFICE
Number TEN’s refresh of the Kensington created an old world "boutique hotel" atmosphere of charm and ambiance. The Kensington is one of three retirement residences operated by Revera in Greater Victoria.
