Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs
The new Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs Governance House will centralize the AMC Grand Chief’s office and Secretariat, and a range of First Nation administrative groups and public service organizations, all working together to achieve the common goal of self-sufficiency and self-governance. Two sky atriums for the upper floor office workers will allow passive solar heat exchange in a greenhouse type environment. The assembly hall will be designed to accommodate the ceremonial procession performed at the beginning of each General Assembly and will incorporate electronic voting technology, audio/visual recording, translation devices, and live media broadcasting.
