current projects Misericordia Health Centre Redevelopment The Misericordia Health Centre (MHC) is a historically-significant, catholic-based healthcare facility with a strong presence in the surrounding neighbourhood. The redevelopment’s purpose is to replace existing 1900-era wood-frame buildings (Sherbrook and Maryland wings) and consolidate departments such as Diagnostic Imaging, Lab, and Ophthalmology into a new modern, sustainable, and safe building. The main challenge will be to demolish and construct while remaining fully operational. The scope of work includes approximately 95,000sf of new construction and 21,000sf of renovated space, including a new central atrium.
