Contract Administration Coordinator

We are seeking a technical and collaborative individual to join us in the role of Contract Admin Coordinator to support Senior Contract Administrators on large and medium scale projects under construction. Project include renovations and new build. The successful candidate will work closely with the project Contract Administrator and Project Administrator, and coordinate with our internal team of architects, interior designers, technologists and outside consultants.

  • Attend site visits and meetings with Contract Administrator
  • Prepare and distribute site review and deficiency reports
  • Maintain project documentation in a manner consistent with contract deliverables and the company file structure.
  • Maintain markup record of project revisions on contract drawings.
  • Track and log RFIs as needed, coordinate responses with consultant team.
  • Track and log shop drawings, coordinating with Contract Administrator, architects, interior designers and consultants.
  • Support project close-out, final inspections, deficiencies, warranty work.
  • Coordinate and prepare record drawings.
  • Participate fully in health, safety and quality processes.
  • Complete additional technical tasks as assigned. 

Who are we looking for?

  • A diploma in Civil Engineering Technology recognized by CCTAM or CCTT would be considered an asset.
  • Ability to read architectural, mechanical, electrical and structural drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment, manage multiple priorities, and work under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, with an aptitude for adopting new technology.
  • Experience with Newforma or Procore software, or a willingness to learn.
  • Experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD and Revit would be considered an asset.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Experience in the construction industry is an asset but not a requirement.
