Building Two in Terracon’s Tuxedo Business Park prominently fronts onto the busy Kenaston Boulevard. There was a desire from the client to depart from the repetitive precast concrete structures already on site and explore other options using higher end materials. Our approach was to scale down the expansive façade into smaller asymmetrical components.

The jewel-like tapered metal panel is a simple and innovative focal point of the building, reflecting the east-facing morning light while the textured concrete cladding panels anchor the entry points against the extensive curtainwall. An open canopy ties the building together and further scales the building, particularly at entrances.

The 45,000 sq. ft. light industrial and commercial building features dock and grade loading and 20’-0” clear height interior, allowing a tenant for the option of a mezzanine or full second floor. Expansive glazing throughout maximizes natural light and views to the beautiful landscaping around the development while offering flexibility for tenant fit up.
