Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre

Historic Revival: The Metropolitan Entertainment Centre

Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre is Winnipeg’s premium, main stage theatre. The auditorium space holds 900 seats on two tiered levels. The working areas of the house were designed to accommodate all types of performances. There is a full loft and full complement of service facilities including carpentry shop, set storage, wardrobe room, rehearsal hall, dressing rooms and general offices.

The original project was completed by Number TEN in 1970. Number TEN has continued to serve MTC over the years.
