North District Police Station

The North District Police Station (NDPS) is the fourth police station in Winnipeg developed under the district-station model established in 2003. This $26.7 million facility, situated in the William Whyte neighborhood, follows a single-storey design similar to its predecessors with the objective to enhance public access, visibility, and collaborative partnerships within the Winnipeg Police Service (WPS).

The NDPS prioritizes security and safety, incorporating efficient operational requirements that safeguard both officers and the public. Functionally, the facility encompasses specific zones for police operations, such as detainee holding and interview rooms, evidence storage facilities, and a welcoming public service center. Operating around the clock, the building also includes staff offices, gym, a lunch area, and a secure garage.
