Kerry is a partner and architect at Number TEN with over 20 years of experience. Joining Number TEN in 2005, Kerry steadily advanced to associate in 2015 and became a partner in 2022.
Kerry has dedicated herself to designing spaces that have the power to make an incredible difference in peoples’ lives. She believes that well-designed spaces are powerful tools for social change.
Kerry’s leadership style is characterized by calm confidence, guiding numerous clients through new construction, building retrofits, and master planning. Her expertise includes projects with high-security and public safety requirements, approached through a trauma-informed lens. Notably, she recently integrated trauma-informed design principles into the new TOBA Centre for Children and Youth, a child advocacy centre for testimony and law enforcement partnership.
She currently serves as co-chair of Number TEN’s Community and Culture Knowledge Community, which is dedicated to promoting awareness and sensitivity in community and cultural spaces. The Knowledge community champions accessibility and strives to design beautiful, inclusive, and meaningful places that benefit not only building users but also the broader community.
As a leader, Kerry is decisive, wise and compassionate. She prioritizes people in all her projects, is a passionate advocate for vulnerable communities and a source of empathy within the design community.
From 2015 to 2021, Kerry chaired the AIA AAJ Communication Committee, demonstrating her commitment to advancing architectural practice and communication.
